Social : The Price of Moving Forward
Malaysia is moving rapidly, thrusting itself in a forward motion towards becoming an advance nation. No matter if we are gonna achieve such status by 2020 is alltogether another issue. As for me, weather we do or not does not really bother me since after all, the mindset of the society is what matters most. We can all rant about being advance and all that, but having a 3rd world mentality speaks out louder than the 1st world infrastructure we have.
Anyway, one of the main issue I see that plagues 1st world countries is fast becoming a cancer in Malaysia. Illegal immigrants. I think its quite unfair to label that all aliens as a negative impactful people. Some of them do contribute to the economics of a certain city. However, things kinda gets ugly if a bucnh of rotten apples tend to commit crimes and get away with it. We’re talking about people who dont have proper ID and address. They are literally like ghosts, and ghosts can do shit and get away without leaving any stains or foul smell.
I see this happening in all the major big cities. You have loads of aliens in Paris. I’ve seen them in London. And of course in places like New York and Boston are not spared as well. And this, to such an extend, Kuala Lumpur and also other major cities in Malaysia are fast becoming (or has already became) infested with aliens. Personally, as a Malaysian, I do not like such scenario. I feel threatened. I feel insecure. There is no where in KLC streets where I can just take a stroll without having fear being mugged or even robbed.
Then comes the MVQ (that’s most valuable question). What precisely is the government doing then? Why allow such cancer to spread? You do hear the news of aliens getting rounded up and sent to detention camps to be deported. But where are the statistics? Thing is, I see very very little effort in condoning this issue. And as we discuss more on this, innocent people are getting robbed, mugged, heck - even raped and killed. I bet all of us do read of such news from every now or so often.

I’ve always questioned the cultural system and practices of Malaysian society in general. We are a bunch of people who arent really what we percieved and published and advertised. When shit happens, we tend to be selfish. Why? Simply becuz its not any of our business. So we couldnt care less. I’ve seen a lot of such antics in our society - so to some extend, I’m sure I’m right on this. How do we go about to rectify this? I dont know to be honest. Hey, I’m also a Malaysian and as usual I also wanna jaga my own periuk nasi!
It really saddens me to be honest. Seeing how our place being overrun by aggresive and violent aliens really makes me sick. I’m following the news from abroad and I have yet to read on any really solid move by the big G to make any ammendments, or changes to rectify this problem. The rakyat are living in fear, I’m certain of that. And as we live such a life, I’ll just read the news and wait till one day I read something constructive - I can only hope.
