I was listening to Snow Patrol’s Counting Cars, and was really amazed by the simplicity of it. Sometimes, its those small things in life, those small little simple things, that can really make a difference. Most of us just dont see them as they pass by our daily routine life. And Chasing Cars, is an example of such simplicity in its utmost beauty. Its not really just about the simple lyrics alone. The melody, the tone, and even the music itself is very very simple.

At least it is to my rather noobish musical ears.

Anyway, I was rather inspired by this song, and it sorta reflects on my current state. I’m counting my days here in UK. I’ve planned to fly back to Malaysia by end of this month… 28th June 2007 to be exact. My bosses are discussing on avenues of extending my contract to work here in Lotus UK. I’ll leave those management stuff to them to work it out. Of course I’d hope it would be a long extension instead of a short one and instead of something which I call - the uncertainty of placement (worst case scenario).

So, from now till then, I have 26 more days to go

And I’m counting each and everyone of these days.
