The Promised Land
Tuesday, October 11th, 2005Today, October the 11th 2005; Finally got my UK work permit. Hopefully everythign will be smooth sailing from now on. I realize I am in an industry that has always been in flip flops. Auotmotive consulting is really a challenging career path to thread on. Why? Well, for one, no car manufacturers produces their products as fast as those Nokia phones. Cost of development of a new car range from at least RM400,000,000.00 onwards. Yes… thats RM400 million. So its not a cheap business and its also full of competition.
For now, even though I have the work permit to UK in my hands… everything could still change over in a blink of a day. While I am going down to Jalan Ampang tomorrow to get more details pertaining documents required for my Visa applications… there’s a risk of the project being called off. And if its does… the work permit will remain as a work permit on a sheet of paper. It might not be cool… but thats life. And that’s life in automotive consulting firm. Guess I have to live with it, unless i decided to change field of course.
Until then, here’s just another pic of myself in office. Just like any other day.
